Seafarms has undertaken extensive community consultation as Project Sea Dragon has progressed through regulatory milestones. We understand the importance of strong working relationships with stakeholders and the local communities where Project Sea Dragon will operate. Our East Kimberley community sponsorships have supported the local football league, the Ord Valley Muster, the Kimberley Agricultural show and the Ribinyung Darwang Aboriginal Association.

The company acknowledges the Traditional Owners and their ancestors of the lands on which the project will be constructed. Project Sea Dragon has reached agreement with Native Title Holders through the signing of an Indigenous Land Use Agreement in November 2017, and will continue to work with Indigenous stakeholders to maximise the benefits of the project to them.

Once operational, the Project will be one of the biggest employers in northern Australia, creating sustainable jobs across several locations.
